I was watching the State of the Union for about 5 minutes when I realized that because time is literally of the essence, I can't sit on these songs that I've been working on the last year and a half and wait for myself to find time to make them "perfect" before I put them out for the public. they are what they are and that's all they'll be. here is my most recent collection of songs. predominantly political. if you don't like that, I do apologize, but it's literally now or never. it's time to give a shit and do something about it. anyway, these are all more or less demos. are they perfect? no. do they get the point across? I think so. thanks for listening.

i've been thinking about power and responsibility a lot lately. re: a great Starhawk training I watched on YouTube. the last few years of my life have really been centered on these two words, yet i don't often think about their importance in my life.

when people think they have no power, they have no reason to act. when people think they have power, they have to do something with the power. how do you get to a point where you realize you *do* have power? i'm not sure. these songs are my attempt to maybe phrase things in a way that might help someone else realize they *do* have power. do something with it. we all have a responsibility towards one another. we owe it to the earth that sustains us, to the people who came before us. do something.
